About Casa Lucida
Dr. Nydia Conrad is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience helping couples and individuals create real, lasting change, not just insight.
She founded Casa Lucida after recognizing what traditional therapy cannot provide: the focused, uniterrupted time and immersive environment that true transformation requires. Her 2 day intensives in Costa Rica are designed for couples in crisis, navigating infidelity, betrayal, emotional shutdown, and chronic conflict, and for individuals ready to make significant changes in their lives.
Her approach draws from trauma informed care, The Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and experiential techniques. The goal is not just understanding, it is real behavioral change that lasts.
Dr. Conrad's work has been featured on ABC News, Fox 13 Tampa, News Channel 8, Wink News, Mira TV, The Mike Calta Show, and The Mike O Radio Show.
Telehealth therapy sessions available to Florida residents. Wellness and couples coaching available nationwide via video.

"Dr. Conrad is exceptional at what she does and has both saved and improved my marriage as well as helped me to grow and be a better person and more understanding father. Anybody lucky enough to get an appointment will benefit from her insight." — Anonymous
Mission
Casa Lucida exists for people who are done waiting for a slow change. Our intensives are not for everyone. They are for people who are ready to stop managing the problem and start solving in. In two focused days, in one of the most restorative environments on earth, we do the kind of work that changes relationships and lives.
