Therapy Session

Individual Therapy

Dr. Conrad works with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, phobias, sexual concerns, compulsive sexual behavior, relationship patterns that keep repeating, and major life transitions, including adults on the autism spectrum and professionals under pressure at work. Her approach is integrative and relational. She looks at where a pattern started and how it plays out in your current relationships, including the one with her, then works with you to change it, drawing on cognitive behavioral and trauma-informed techniques where they help. Most clients meet weekly, though some come more often during a difficult stretch and others taper to every other week as things improve. Sessions are held by secure video for clients located in Florida at the time of each session.

Couples Therapy

Dr. Conrad works with couples facing infidelity, betrayal, emotional shutdown, chronic conflict, differences in desire, and other sexual concerns, as well as couples trying to decide whether the relationship has a future. She also works with couples recovering from betrayal involving compulsive sexual behavior, supporting both the partner seeking change and the partner who was hurt. Therapy begins with an assessment that includes time with each partner individually and with the two of you together. From there, she combines the Gottman Method with psychoanalytic and interpersonal work. The Gottman Method gives you specific, research-based skills for managing conflict, repairing after a fight, and rebuilding trust. The deeper work looks at why the same arguments keep happening and what each of you brings to them from earlier in your lives. Many of the couples she sees arrive in crisis, so sessions are at least weekly and often twice a week or more when the situation calls for it. Sessions are held by secure video for couples located in Florida at the time of each session.

Individual Intensives

The intensive is two days of private, one-on-one coaching in the Costa Rican rainforest for people who want to reset how they live and work. It suits professionals, leaders, and anyone at a crossroads in their career, relationships, or life direction who wants focused time away from ordinary life to sort out what comes next.

It begins with a consultation call to determine whether the intensive is appropriate for you and to establish your goals. Dr. Conrad uses that conversation to design the two days around what you want to accomplish, whether that is a career decision, a leadership challenge, a stalled personal goal, or a life that no longer fits.

The intensive runs two full days, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with an hour for lunch. Each day combines practical teaching on goals, decision-making, stress, energy, and the habits that support or undermine them with one-on-one coaching. Time outdoors is part of the work, because people tend to think more clearly when they step away from their usual setting. You leave with clear priorities and a written plan for what changes when you get home.

Two follow-up coaching sessions by video are included to review your progress and adjust the plan once you are back in your routine.

You arrange your own travel, lodging, meals, and activities. One client per intensive.

The intensive is coaching. It is not psychotherapy and does not replace it. If concerns come up that are better addressed in therapy, Dr. Conrad will discuss appropriate options with you.

Couples Retreat

The couples intensive is two private days in the Costa Rican rainforest for couples who want to reconnect, communicate better, and build skills that last. It draws on Gottman research into what successful couples do differently: how they manage conflict, build friendship, and create shared meaning. The program is shaped around what the two of you want to work on.

It begins with a consultation call with both partners to determine whether the intensive is appropriate for you and to establish your goals as a couple. Dr. Conrad uses that conversation to design the two days around your priorities, whether that is fighting less and repairing faster, reconnecting after a stretch of distance, improving how you make decisions together, or planning the next chapter of your relationship.

The intensive runs two full days, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with an hour for lunch. Each day pairs teaching drawn from Gottman research with guided exercises the two of you complete together, so you practice new skills in real time instead of just hearing about them. Time outdoors is built into the program, because couples often talk more openly side by side and away from the setting where their arguments usually happen. You leave with practical tools and a written plan for the two of you.

Two follow-up coaching sessions by video are included to review your progress and adjust the plan once you are back home.

You arrange your own travel, lodging, meals, and activities. One couple per intensive.

The couples intensive is psychoeducational. It is not psychotherapy and does not replace it. If your relationship is in crisis, couples therapy may be a better first step, and Dr. Conrad will discuss appropriate options with you during your consultation call.
