Good Faith Estimate
Dr. Conrad is a private-pay practice and does not work with insurance companies.
How fees work
Every session has a set fee: $250 per hour for therapy by video and $150 per 30 minutes for experiential sessions. You choose your session from the booking menu, see the exact fee before you book, and pay when you book. The fee you pay at booking is the full cost of that session. It does not change, and you will never receive a bill afterward.
You decide how often you come. If you want another session, you can book it at the same per-session fee. If you would like an extended session please book two slots separately. Coming more often does not change the price of a session, but it does increase your total cost. Dr. Conrad does not prescribe a set number of sessions. Therapy is not an exact science, and how often you come is up to you.
About your Good Faith Estimate
Because each session is booked and paid for individually, each session has its own Good Faith Estimate. The confirmation email you receive when you book is your written Good Faith Estimate for that session. If you would like an estimate before booking, contact Dr. Conrad and one will be provided within 3 business days.
Good Faith Estimates apply to therapy, including experiential sessions. They do not apply to coaching or to the Costa Rica intensives.
Your rights
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
